Competition Terms and Conditions
FRIMAX “BACK TO SCHOOL” COMPETITION – TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Promoter
The promoter of this competition is Frimax Foods (Pty) Ltd (“the Promoter”).
This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta, Facebook, Instagram or TikTok.
2. Competition Period
The competition opens on 9th January 2026
The competition closes at 23:59 on 30 January 2026.
No late entries will be accepted.
3. Eligibility
The competition is open to South African residents only.
Entrants must be 18 years or older at the time of entry.
Employees of Frimax Foods, its advertising agencies, suppliers, distributors, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
A valid Instagram, TikTok or Facebook account is required to participate.
4. How to Enter
To enter, participants must complete all the following steps on Instagram:

Comment on the post and tell us why you deserve to win the ultimate school snack prize
Failure to complete all steps may result in disqualification.
No purchase is required to enter.
5. Prize
One (1) winner will receive Frimax school snacks for one year.
The prize consists of a selection of Frimax snack products, supplied periodically over a 12-month period.
The exact snack variants, quantities, delivery schedule, and format are at the discretion of the Promoter.
The prize is not transferable, not refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
6. Winner Selection & Notification
The winner will be selected at random or based on the merit of their comment (at the Promoter’s discretion).
The winner will be contacted via direct message within 5 working days of the competition closing.
If the winner cannot be contacted within 48 hours, or fails to provide required information, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
7. Prize Delivery
The winner must provide a valid South African delivery address.
Delivery arrangements will be coordinated directly with the winner. every 6 months or winner can choose to take it all upfront.
The Promoter will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by incorrect information supplied by the winner.
8. Publicity & Consent
By entering the competition, participants consent to:
The use of their name, Instagram handle, and/or likeness for promotional purposes related to this competition, Without additional compensation.
9. Data Protection (POPIA)
Personal information collected will be used solely for the purpose of administering this competition.
All personal data will be processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Personal information will not be shared with third parties unrelated to the competition.
10. General
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries.
Any attempt to manipulate or abuse the competition may result in disqualification.
The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition should circumstances arise beyond its control.

11. Governing Law
This competition is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).

By participating, entrants release Meta & TikTok from any responsibility.
